Today I'm a Monkey COVER

This is the cover illustration for my picture book "Today I'm a Monkey". I've done sketches for the entire thing, but debated for a long time how to color it. I wanted to keep it relatively soft, but kept trying to make the coloring soft, not the lines. Finally I realized I needed to tighten up the lines on the original sketch and color from there and it all came together.

I won't be posting any more of the illustrations, but I wanted to show the art for the cover at least. I'll likely be self publishing it later this year.
