Brainiac 5 hurried to get the base in order before Lightning Lad and his group returned with Superman. It was little wonder they wanted him back, he was the only one who could keep any sense of order here. Though that was harder now since he couldn't multi task as well with this human body.
A flash of light and a swirling vortex signaled their return. Brainy hurried over, telling himself that he wasn't excited, just wanted to get to work on their mission. "Brainy, there's been a slight change of plans." Lightning Lad said as he got out of the pod. "We couldn't find Superman, so we brought someone else." "What do you mean, a change in plans?" Brainy scowled. He should have gone with them. "Superman's powers were uniquely suited to this mission, you can't just replace that with someone you found in the past." Bouncing Boy's head poked out of the pod. As usual, he was grinning like an idiot. "Yeah, but look who we got instead!" The woman who got out next was nothing like he was expecting. Blond, blue eyed, and radiating the same sense of power and confidence that Brainy had always associated with Superman. Brainy nearly dropped the equipment he'd been carrying and found himself staring at the logo on her chest. "Hey there. I'm Supergirl. My cousin's told me a lot about you." I was playing with the idea of doing v-day art for all my friends when I did this, but this is the only one that I managed before time ran out. Brainy and Supergirl is a favorite pairing in LoSH for my friend  Shada. Mine too, really. I really wish they'd done this in the show, it was so meant to be.I had the sketch done before I decided to try for the LoSH art style, so it ended up a bit between mine and the show's. Plus a little Bruce Timm, since the Justice League Unlimited version of Supergirl is the one I know best. I really need to practice my backgrounds. This one is just sad. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I don't have a problem with canon, non-canon, straight, gay or any other of that nonsense. I have a problem with incest but as long as it isn't real life & it is drawn well I will pretend that they're not related for the sake of a job well done. Love wins
